Overall, a very frustrating novel due to the MC getting dragged all over against her wishes. The story is filled with plot devices that pulls her further and further from her goal. Every attempt at returning is thwarted by something, and even if she does succeed (partially) something else goes wrong in order to stop her, again and again.She does have her instances of standing up for her rights and freedom, which are almost overridden every step of this story because she doesn't have the heart to fully act on it and hurt someone until almost 3/4 of the story.I'd say if the story's aim was to make someone feel her frustration and helplessness then yes, it was a very good novel in doing that. If you're looking for something like a badass guide who controls harem in a guideless world then no, this is not the story for you.
