It’s Sudden, but I Came to Another World! But I Hope to Live Safely Chapter 27 (reigokai) Discussion

I don't usually write review, but this thing urges me to do so. Because it was FANTASTIC.

First of all is about the novel itself. Basically an isekai setting, but the background is well-developed. For example, people don't just speak Japanese for no reason there like many other isekai series. The world has strength and magic, but neither is ab*sed. It's not like pure magic or pure strength could dominate the other. Next is the main character. Not being a typical beta dense male already earns himself a high score in the eyes of the readers already, but he is not just that. He is physically weak, but has his sharp thinking (and even cunning somtimes) compensates for that. Being weak as he is, he doesn't need anyone to actually protect him, using pure survival instinct and abilities (yeah, he is not using any cheats, buffs, overpowerness or whatever, you read it right), unlike many weak MC out there who are frustrathingly weak and pathetic. He is not some kind of kind of men to can be shy, blush when he touches a girl or whatever, while not being over assertive either. Don't get me wrong, he does show emotion in a very humane way, not the type that uses the others for his own benefits. He gains by making both parties gain, instead of gaining from the loss of others. He is just built so well. Other characters, even just through 27 chapters at the time of this review, had good characters development too. The girls are not the one that fall in love from nowhere (actually no one has fallen in love with him until now, but the way the it is going now, they will definitely be, in a good way, of course). Not too rush, but also not too slow. And it's not only about the girls, the friendship with the gentlements is also beautiful.

Secondly, the translator. Just one word, REIGOKAI, and you already know it's gonna be good. This guy is just doing god's work. If we think the series itself is the recipe, then the translator is the food and season. In this case, Reigokai can make a bad novel become good, and a good novel become a masterpiece. When you think that the novel cannot get any better, you will be surprised when it becomes better under his work. I'm serious here. There are times when I actually wondered whether the original texts were acutally as good and easy to comprehend as the translated version.
