The characters feel flat. And the plot feels meh. So is the pacing of the novel. The only interesting thing was the main character was trying to bring modern pastries into a fantasy magic world. The downfall of that plot is the main character is over-power. The main character is obviously a mary sue character; thus the reason why the plot just feels boring.
