There's little to no romance in the story. It's mainly the researcher's and MC's relationship that can be seen as romantic but it's practically platonic. MC being desner than a brick doesn't help. The excuse for it doesn't help considering he was 5.Novel is too detailed for basic things. A lot of monologue. Makes it full of filler and drawn out chapters. Some volumes have 1/5 of it explaining his secret to another person. Which gets repetitive. Sometimes 1/2 of novel doesn't have much going on. It can be seen as filler. I wouldn't really call it a volume. There's progression but it's rather slow.A lot more progress and mystery showing vol 8.
