The Villain Runs Wild Chapter v1 Discussion

Readers always compare transmigration stories to QWFOD and I can’t blame them, that novel is what made me crave for transmigration stories too!

QWFOD is gold but it doesn’t have to always be a point of comparison with other novels

Each novel has their own good and bad I guess ~

Anyhooo I’m an avid reader of transmigration stories so that must be why this novel didn’t make me like it that much

I think that MC has a very interesting personality and his backstory with ML is also very intriguing

But the ML’s personality for me feels very flat. He has a love-hate feeling for MC and the explanation for his feelings maybe doesn’t even take up 10 paragraphs in the first arc.

What I mean is — I get the reasoning as to why he fell for MC but because the insight into how he fell wasn’t narrated well, it didn’t feel that much. It was like in a blink of an he was just in love and it doesn’t set him apart from MLs of other stories.

Anyhooo, some may argue that didn’t the ML in QWFOD also fell too fast for MC?

Yes he did! But he just has a charm to him lol kidding aside, I guess it’s the way the ML was portrayed there and how his emotions where told that made the difference

Conclusion? This is still a good read! I just feel like it wasn’t worth me skipping work for 6 hrs lol
