Wow, the translation quality is really high. The proses were so sophisticated and intricate, I could tell that the translator had gone a great length to produce such work. Great job, translator laoshi! Also the story, the plot was simple but the delivery was top-notch. Usually, I stay away from novels told from first-person perspective, but this one just WORKS. It's really fascinating and funny to know Wei Zisong's inner workings. Made me understand her joys and sorrows, it really tugged on my heartstrings if I were to word it profoundly. I feel like, had this novel been told from third person pov, the comedy aspect wouldn't be executed that well.
