Okay, ML Rahil fell in love with Angelica even before his marriage to MC Anais. There's nothing wrong with that in my own opinion, and we cannot expect sudden romance from ML towards MC just because she's the MC of this novel. Although the ml's favor towards ogFL or Angelica is so cliche and superb, (imagine marrying a woman just so to protect your true love is so out of this world fantasy, right?). But as sML of the ognovel then that is in the line and it seems that Angelica is not a bad woman after all. I can't blame MC's insecurities toward Angelica since she herself witnessed the oath the emperor gives to Angelica on her wedding day. I can't hate the emperor also, yes he's in love with Angelica before and maybe he mistakenly assume that he's in love with Angel but the reality is that, he is only begging for love. No one loves him dearly even his own parents that is why when Angelica came he pour all his emotion and mistake it as love for the opposite. When Anais came, like Sion said ML did not notice it but he's in love with her. ML is not opposing his feelings also, he adores her. He is unconsciously jealous already on the consorts.This novel is interesting. The tl too is flawless. In ch 3 part 5 Sion's narrative as he compare Anais to Euphira (Rahil's mother), it's not that Rahil felt something for Anais because she resembles his mother by face. It's like, she resembles his mother in the sense of being indifferent and distant towards ml. ML craved much of his mother's love but was ignored, that is why he seek it to Angelica but the latter chose Theo the ogml. And then came Anais and brought back that side of ML which is craving to be loved. Sion is afraid that if Anais will continue to ignore Rahil and will fall with another man, the real danger might really come this time, as Rahil already fell for Anais but is still ignorant of his feeling. It's not that Rahil fell for Anais because she looks like his mother.
