Tried it for fluff and high ratings but found story totally bland and boring. There is no chemistry between the MC and ML. Emperor just keeps thinking MC is in love with him, while MC just wants him to leave her alone. I’ve seen the trope playing on this misunderstanding before and it can be quite funny, but here, Banter is neither funny nor witty and reads extremely cliche, trite and generic. Harem drama lacks any tension, drama or surprises. Story and writing is overall too simplistic. No idea where high reviews came from. Couldn’t make myself continue reading.
