The relationship growth is too quick for me. And the revelation of his identity was not that exiting. The conflict was literally easily solved with common sense.

Spoiler

youngest child got over his trauma because of a piece of steam bun. The eldest child had the most character growth since he's the one who did not trust MC the most. The wife got over his trauma in the first day MC started talking to him. Wife even let kids be alone with MC knowing his old husband would beat the crap out of them before. MC didn't even have to apologize to any of them. When the MC revealed his identity it only took six dialouge. The wife was not worried at all that a strange man has been has been pretending to be his husband and the father of his children. The conflicts is not premeditated:

He recieved a mu of high-land that gets infested with beasts but instead of selling it to the government he tries to make it work and lost a lot of money

He kept making an excuse to his ex-hoes that he ran out of money to keep them away because he doesn't want to further ruin his image when isn't it better to reject them honestly that he does not want to be with them anymore to save his image? And what image is he trying to save? Everyone knows he was a useless lusting creepy a**hole

MC earned 400 tael quick every time he goes to town but he looses them from farm shopping. He just bought seeds and a weapon for his wife. His source of income comes from the forest which is free. How is he broke every time? Is 400 tael equal to a $1? It does not compute.

His wine only take a week to make but in really wines take months to make
