This was heart-wrenchingly beautiful precisely because it was realistic. There are no over-the-top complexities and villainous schemes typically seen in entertainment novels. Though there were minor antagonists. Can't really leave those out. This just took on all the realistic aspects in those types of novels, like having a big shot backing a small actor or the industry's attitude of kissing up to the strong whilst bullying the weak.Loved the dog food. Loved the angst. Honestly perfect balance for me. There were times that I cried big fat tears and times that I felt so dazed and stuffy that I only got out small tears. MC and ML's banters are hilarious when they need to be, serious when they need to be, and very very gentle when they need to be. I loved seeing how they got to that point and how they got back together.Wasn't really invested in the second couple because I don't vibe with that trope much but the story never really focused on them so I was cool with that. Don't know if they have an entirely different story. I haven't gotten to their extra yet.The writing style was beautiful. It's simple but there's just something about it that makes me feel... comfortable? Everytime, I can clearly feel what the characters are feeling. As of now, this is my "I would wipe my memories out after reading just so I can read it again" book.5/5
