Here are few examples of MC behavior which shows how 'smart' is he. I basically took examples of what might happen to you and added MC style logical conclusions and replies

Doctor: your leg is turning black and you can't feel it, it's necrose. If we don't cut it off you will die. MC: are you threatening me?

MC was brought to the criminal hideout. And now criminal boss suggests him to leave silently and gives him hush money. MC instead of shutting his mouth, asks unreasonable questions and insults criminal boss

Yes this is a behavior of MC. He is not curious or cautious person - he is brain dead. The god is obviously not super good natured person why you try to annoy him?

I couldn't think of any good examples for this situations so they are little spoilery

God asks him to use his powers to help the world on the brink of destruction. MC decides to not do this without any reasons. Dude you are going to new world and the only thing you are asked to do is being OP. Instead you decide that it's better to kill new world. WHY?

He asks to become ~3th son of a noble without asking how is noble life. What if he was send to army right a way because they don't need third son?

To be fair I understand that plot armor will eventually prove that MC was correct in his decisions. Nevertheless it doesn't change the fact that his behavior is more appropriate to 6 year old with veeery high self esteem

EDIT:

So after reading a bit more in hope of improvements I'm dropping.

Idea was decent and world building is also kind of ok. However MC never becomes smarter and the same can be said about populace overall. Also plot holes... they are both deep and frequent. I would better have thick plot armor which at least justifies MC actions and 'logical' conclusions in hard way.

The king of the country gives MORE territory to already powerful noble family he is trying to suppress.... And this territory overall is already developed. Why would you do this? To give more money and influence to your enemy? And this is one of the key points in plot

So MC almost purposely is showing that he is way older than he looks to the level that whole house is starting to say that he is 160 years old. Is it what smart person does to hide that he was reincarnated?

He basically complains that people of this world should study themselves and that church and apostles are main blockers. And what he does? Exactly the same thing - he is teaching people to culture and technology which in theory they should come up themselves. Why? Why don't you just destroy church and say to people that they must not rely on apostles? Everyone will believe him as apostles are treated as gods

Also why the hell he never thought why God sends apostles at all??? Maybe there is some good reason, no?
