Mtl'd upto this part and really missed out on a lot. And had to backread some chapters because they were incomplete 😑 Will reread after TL has completed. TL is doing a wonderful job!I really didn't expect this novel to serve more than it premised. I was expecting a lovely childcare story. AND I DID GET THAT! Baobei is so adorable and the two fathers are just hilarious! Also Lu Yaoyao's baby reactions always made me crack. But the story just takes off from there!After that first arc, we are drawn into the Xianxia world of Dao, Devil and Demons. The baobei's cultivation adventures and the mysteries surrounding her parents are slowly unveiled. The author was quite strong in the storybuilding in each of these places. There's a multitude of characters in this CN that have different personalities and ideologies which is a recipe for a GEM novel. As these three races are living in a tense peace, the og plot is to have them make merry. As for the romance, it's not yet developing and might take awhile.I was really not expecting much from this CN and expected to read mindless fluff but towards the end of the cutesy chapter it started to grow dark and I found myself reading greedily. Mind there's still the silly adventures of baobei. Who knew that my love for both childcare and the slice of life, slow burn cultivation genre could be balanced perfectly by this author! 100% GEM!And btw it's so slow going that I'm expecting this CN to be at least 500+ chapters. But the beauty's in the journey, so hop on!
