This one is a decent read. There isn't a whirlwind romance, but a slow and gentle one. ML is not a master swordsman but a master tactician. The author misses a lot of opportunities to be clever about how ML strategically deals with villains, but does try to paint ML as a vindictive strategist. FL is the MC here and I enjoy her face slapping skills. The girl does not back down from anyone, even the Crown Princess. She has a space hack and plant growing skills, and uses them to make a lot of money. She basically sponsors ML's officialdom, strengthens his support for the throne with money.IMO, the most well liked and surprising character is the outspoken MIL who is a considerate and intelligent character considering her environment. The least well liked character has to be the doormat FIL. FIL is meek, useless, and entirely too gullible, to the pt where he lets others get away with disrespecting his daughter. He is the most ridiculous nice character in the entire series.
