This review is pretty subjective, but here goes. I'd recommend this novel if you're new to these kinds of stories or just looking to kill some time. I'm part of the latter.Let's dive in. Honestly, there's not much to say, so I'll keep it brief. This novel is cliché as hell. If you're expecting something unique, you're in for a disappointment. It's so predictable I nearly dropped it after the first chapter. The setup? Classic video game world turns real. If you read these novels, you know the drill. Our MC gets betrayed at the end because his comrades crave power, stopping him from finishing the game. Total cliché. Then he regresses, and you can guess the rest. As for the side-characters, I won't say much, I'll only say that they are ALL TERRIBLE, no depth, no backstory, they're all literally walking card board cut-outs. Also for some reason every monster in the game has the ability to communicate with humans, like bro, is the author s*upid or something? If monsters are capable of human speech, then they could've already conquered the world because of their intelligence. Jesus CHRIST. And not only that, he also HIDE HIS POWERS/IDENTITY, idc what reason you have, I'm sick of it! The world literally just exists for the protagonists himself, I can't believe I would hate a novel this bad, just go read some obsession novels from novelpia, at the very least it has depth and decent drama. In conclusion, while the plot's predictable, the execution isn't bad, and the translation's solid.Overall, it's a 4.5/10 for me. Thanks for reading! ;)
