It got to the point where I was only interested in what would happen to the MC’s “best friend” after the MC’s ex broke it off.
The Faceslapping was not satisfying after a while. The MC had just decided to ruin her Ex’s family business and I think that would be a bit too much. There are a lot of people that make up a corporation so to ruin it and all those lives just because a kid asked if you moved on is a bit much. I get he’s scum but if she does that I’ll end up feeling sorry for him like, brother eww lol
Also the fact that she’s this cultivator who almost reached a higher realm says that’s she’s old as heck and it just seems beneath her to deal with a kid in that manner. The body she took over in the first arc in just 20 years old but the MC is probably in her 1000s, the ex is just 20. The punishment is too excessive.
