It's quite a slow burn, because there's some trauma that the ML must overcome. As he is getting over his aversion to physical contact (only with the FL), due to his uncontrollable attraction, the FL continues to make excuses for why he touches her lol. Additionally, a lot of the novel plays out in the shows they film. Their fluff picks up about half way through the novel and blooms around the final 75%. They're incredibly sweet! The more jealous ML becomes of FL's interactions with the other actors, the more ML feels the urgency to capture her but still respects her boundaries. I get as excited as the shows audience! It is thrilling how strong and smart the ML is, and how well the FL matches his energy. Where he is physically strong, she is mentally fortified. Where he is cruel & vindictive towards his enemies, she is already laying obstacles in their enemies' path. Both are black bellied and so smart that they can plan the next 10 steps while their opponents are still struggling to understand what went wrong.The show's director, screenwriter, and NPC characters are also very funny in their reaction to how the MCs skip levels, and try to increase difficulty as they realize the FL's genius.
