I don't know why this has such a bad rating. Nor do I understand why the translator (foxaholic) dropped it.The first chapter was genuinely enjoyable and I was laughing out loud at multiple points, this comedy continued through what I was reading and if the comedy continues for the entire series it would be a very enjoyable read. The scene of the MC in the meeting hall was a bit- stretched but was enjoyable none-the-less.I ended up reading from chapter 12-20 on a site called Anlate. Com- and the quality wasn't great but I was still enjoying the novel up until the point where an entire chapter was missing (the chapters on Anlate are off, chapter 12 is actually chapter 13, chapter 20 is actually 21, it seems at chapter 21 however that they go back to the actual order, causing a chapter to be missing.) I dropped this when I couldn't find the missing chapter- there are only some 30-40 chapters translated anyway so I didn't see much point in continuing to read.The premise is very interesting and IT TAKES PLACE IN THE MODERN AGE, there's no xianxia/cultivation/transmigraton etc, etc. It takes one of the lesser walked paths. I'm seriously annoyed that Foxaholic dropped it- it seems that every time I find a novel I'm enjoying, it's on Foxaholic and they dropped it.Anyway- there's potential for this to be good if some decent translator (decent editor much preferred) can pick it up. Seriously. So annoyed. 600+ chapters and I can't get past chapter 20 because translators don't have eyes for good stories! STOP TLING BL NOVELS AND START TLING STUFF NORMAL PEOPLE WOULD READ.
