This Alpha’s Pheromones Are Exploding Chapter 59 Discussion

MTL'd and it went pretty well.

I guess I quite liked it, I like that it wasn't your usual rebirth where the original protagonist becomes antagonist or the person who reborns alongside you is the male lead.

I am however disappointed that the author chooses to retract MC's physically strong, confident, tough persona (which were what made me like him in the first place) into somewhat meek, maiden-like.. It sucks that being an omega is almost always tied to femininity and fragility.

MC is also.. BIG SIGH - super oblivious to romance. I just kept facepalming whenever he interacts with the ML: "oh but that's cuz we're friends / mutually helping each other"....

And for someone who came from an omegaverse novel in tbe beginning, he's surprisingly clueless about alpha/omega etiquette and the ML or his family has to remind him of certain things?

I'm also gonna be honest and mention that I literally scrolled past all the paragraphs that talk about the plot of MC's movie. I'm not interested in reading about movie characters/plot, it feels like heavy filler. I wish the author incorporated more of how the MC adapted himself into his film role or just anything that'd let me engage with the story more. Reading these made me think that I'm reading two novels at once.

I'm probably going to regret giving this a 4-star rather than a 3, but I think the original protagonist and ML's brother saved the story for me. I enjoyed their comedic tones that I forget that I wasn't actually satisfied with the story. I also liked that the premise of the story is slightly unconventional.. but MC has let me down. I'll continue seeking for the next manly shou..
