A genderswap novel with a trans girl who is a truly massive egg, or a trans girl who isn't educated on transness at all. It's played for laughs, at first (and it is funny how much of an egg she is), but it's quite clear that she's serious about it. Unlike other stories which are like "oh I'm a girl now? Okay" or "f*ck no I'm a girl" this story is an unambiguously trans text. We see her struggle with her internalized transphobia and transmisogyny (and misogyny). She's quite eccentric and her eggyness is a little bit exaggerated, but her behavior is nonetheless recognizable and somewhat reasonable to me.It does follow the whole "person isekais and is suddenly OP" kinda script (which tbh can be my kind of slop sometimes, but I get it if it's not yours), but it uses that as a background to tell a story about transness, and I haven't seen many genderswap light novels do that stuff.I'm only 40 chapters in, so there's the risk that the story will change this, or that I'm misinterpreting it and the main character is meant to just be laughed at. But so far it seems like that's not the direction it's being taken in.
