2.5 the entertainment level here is very reality tv dating show vibes: bad set ups meant to make the MC fail with really hot guys kissing her to make it fun.

But honestly imo I mean disclaimer I did mtl, the plot really f*cking doesn't hold up. I think it's absolutely illogical so you should only go into this book expecting fun tr*sh haremish but even, honestly I think it should have ended with a harem. I may like the ML a little bit more than the others but overall his actions still don't make sense to me.

Considering we are dealing with yet another system novel that is the main driver for obvious plot progressions, it's a lot of forced moments that don't make sense and a lot of "oh it's a twist that imo wasnt really well executed at all explanation at the end" Spoiler

from what I understand, the system makes her follow being a green tea character despite wanting to come clean to begin with because of the necessities of the original ml/FL plot so she gets even penalized for even thinking about not following the plot, but in the end.... The original FL got w the book's second ML and somehow that saved her and DIDN'T HURT HER? It's like ok if she can be penalized for just thinking of not doing something according to her character settings I mean get a yellow card, yet nothing happens when the plot completely diverges than ok ok... Lol I mean fine.

The plot twist was that she was a self aware character that already died before for going against feelings for the original ml. Yes it just is flat becr who cares. In the end we know this novel was made for people who just like to see awkward situations with hot guys who like you.

Yeah and this system is so overly contrived as a plot device really. It makes her go through things just so we can see and melon eat hot guys fighting over her. Like I said, who cares about the twist in the novel bc she didn't mean anything to the original plot anyways in this time because obviously again this was written so readers could enjoy a harem and it's very obvious lol. A harem with tr*shy dog blood lmao.

[collapse] anyways mediocre writing, but I guess if you like tr*shy reality tv shows, you could legit like this I guess. Also yes I am team (the MC's) 2nd ML but I don't care that much because the characters aren't even that deep. They are very barely not 2d, but definitely entertaining enough. I still think it would have been more entertaining if this had a. Smut and b. Ended on a harem. Because honestly with her character, this monogamy seems a bit too forced as an ending imo.
