So, Itsuki manages to get Seta to take notice, and start thinking about her more seriously. Admittedly, his motivations are completely "pure", but it's progress... And she ends up making him insecure again, because of the whole "I only dressed up for the sculptor" thing.
He actually turned down dinner with Iori to spend time with her, too.
