Yan Xuehen let them get away and then encountered Yun Jianyue. Yan Xuehen lied, saying she killed Zu An, resulting in a massive fight between her and Yun Jianyue, making them both injured. Zu An and Yu Yanluo encountered the two, explained that there was a giant worm wrecking havoc in Yunzhong mines and asked them to help kill it. The four of them successfully killed the giant worm, but they also sustained severe injuries from the fight. Zu An went off with Yu Yanluo into the pond to "treat" her, while Yun Jianyue and Yan Xuehen waited above. Yan Xuehen is poisoned by the giant worm but didn't tell anyone about it
