Five stars because MC is a smart, mature adult. While I found some of the gaming scenes a bit too long, I know it's what gives the novel more color. The guild members from the game are a lot of fun, but I did prefer the real-life interactions. As the other reviewer said, MC is smart and figures things out quickly. But he's also socially savvy and makes good, mature decisions. He's supposed to be 24 years old at the start, done with his military service, and has a good, balanced social life. And it shows. He's calm but firm and overall, a nice guy without it coming off as a gary-stu.The story and background of the ML is also very detailed and very much explains why he is the way he is. ML is only a year younger but he comes from a complicated past and upbringing, making him extremely socially awkward. I kind of wish his issues were fleshed out just a little bit more, but I understand the author wanted to focus the story on the relationship between the two.Over all a good, easy story to read. No angst or frustration. No dramatic over-reactions. Drama is only around the hidden identity. Not as much fluff until the side stories (they are SMITTEN with each other) but you do get attached to the main characters.
