The mystery of what happened in the past is intriguing, and at this point it's the only thing that made me able to grit my teeth and continue reading actually. Because anything else are so frustrating! Like, mc's acquaintance and family all told MC to be vigilant toward ml, and if it's possible, stay away from him. MC even agree himself that ML acting suspicious and he felt wary of him. But then, not even a chapter pass and ML did nothing to lessen the suspicious but act even more suspicious, MC suddenly thought that ML is so nice they should be friend~ Why?? I know that to create a plot point, some time we need to sacrifice some of mc's braincells. But this is not sacrifice some braincells, this is outright MC turn off his brain!! WHY?? 🥴 I hope the story get better though. I really want to know what happened in the past, I don't want to drop the story yet. Dropped at ch. 51I tried. I swear, I really really tried. But at this rate, the only way MC going to win against the villain's side after continue to choose dumb choice after dumb choice all these time, is for the villain himself to be even more dumber than the MC. And that would be anti-climax and didn't worth killing one own braincells continously reading till the end.
