This book is truly charming, featuring well-developed characters who are both enjoyable and compelling. The transitions in time are handled smoothly, maintaining a straightforward storyline with minimal conflicts—a short and sweet narrative that keeps you engaged. I do think the least interesting side characters were focused on but that's just a biased opinion because Spoiler

the student/teacher relationship threw me off a little and I wanted to read more about the FL's mother and brother that dynamic had me thinking a lot
