Honestly a pretty funny novel, it's got horror elements, and it's a delightful read. I'm mostly just making a review because of the low rating first given, I really don't think this novel deserves that. Like another review said, it's not something you should expect to be a top tier horror, or something to be taken that seriously in general, especially with the description of the actual book, it's a little silly.
There's an interesting background set up for our main character. It seems like there are higher powers that know that she would be coming, so that's pretty interesting. There's been a lot of foreshadowing that she's a part of something much larger, and I can't wait to find out what part she plays. At the beginning though, our system basically just dumps her into the novel a year before she's actually supposed to be there, so that's why a lot of the "original novel" hasn't even happened yet.
Honestly the relationship between her and our ML is also pretty nice, it's a slow building romance, but the trust and cooperation is nice. The fact that they always come back to each other, and are always aware of what the other is doing is super nice- our ML is very caring and kind, and I love that. It's a better look than an arrogant overbearing ML atleast. Their relationship hasn't been made official yet, but their feelings for each other are pretty clear.
Overall a good read if you don't want anything too serious, and are just looking to pass the time. It's more comedic than horror, and it's pretty interesting.
