I must say, I am not into reading or watching war stories but I got really hooked on this one. I mtl it to finish the novel and boy it did not disappoint. It by far the best novel I’ve read by this author (and she has a lot) Although half of it describes the war, it really focused on family ties, patriotism, camaraderie, and love. For those wondering if the romance in this story is good, yes it very sweet and will not disappoint at all - even the side characters have their own romance stories. ❤️
