So far so good, it's cute. I had my doubts at the beginning, it's the typical transmigrated into a difficult Cannon fodder character that becomes the protagonist role by treating the tragic characers like human beings. But it's pretty ok for the genre.

The pace is good. My favorite part in transmigrating stories is the balance of expanding worlbuilding over the "original"story in a way that seems like they belong. Until now the novel it's been dealing with the background of the original storyline and so far its interesting.

Main lads are cool. FL is cute and sensible. Not a genius or a scheemer, she is genuinely just a nice person. Her primary concern with the plot was a happier ending for the ML and surviving the plot. Like yeah, I can see why everyone grows to like her for being her. She is oblivious to ML's favoritism and change of feelings, but tbf she's blindsided by the original novel being BL.

ML. I'm super picky with obsessive/possessive characters but so far he is good. Tragic past, and hopefully not so dark yandere future *fingers crossed*.

The rest of the recurring characters are ok, not very deep but they pass. The Duke was a surprise.

He can even be an overprotective and doting father... just not to his son. He is one of the characters more deeply ruled by his personal tragedies, perpetuatig a the cycle of traumas.

[collapse]I'm curious how the author is going to resolve that plotline, it's one of the interesting ones.

And for the people who is wary of the adopted siblings part, if it helps they did not really grow up together. And honestly the time they spend together growing up is not much, meaningful but not long. They do call each other as siblings but in her innermot she calls him her bias who she is happy to support and see from up close. And he is charmed because this bubbly girl his cold father dotes upon is the first person to show him support and affection. His feelings start to change after Spoiler

a rather long separation.

It's an enjoyable read. Translation is pretty good. Book has much cuteness, some fun, some sad, and some omgsohawt!
