He spared this spoiled bit*h princess who kept trying to kill him at every turn. He ended up just writing a contract that would remain secret, but whats the point? What a shitty resolution. Every one that fought for her just got beaten and forgiven. He even had to rescue her and save her life!!!🤬 She barely thanked him.
When he wanted her to apologize, at the very least, for trying to humiliate him and kill him, she couldn't and her guardian stepped in saying "EnOuGh plEaSe LeT tHiS Go", after all she did. He wanted MC to excuse her behavior just because she was spoiled.
[collapse]SpoilerHe even forgave a casino manager who wanted to kill him because MC won too much money. MC just beat him up took his money and left.
[collapse]Every time he enters a new building or a new place, there is some young master who wants to pick a fight with him and disable him. He beats them up and then they apologize. You know, the usual cultivation scenario. Eyes who can't see Mt Tai. Like why have to be arrogant to someone you don't even know?Another reason was that with the fast progress he was making, you would think he would get his revenge around 500 chapters. He breaks all the records and every body calls him a monster and a genius blah blah every other chapter. You would think he was the second coming of christ. He still doesn't come close to getting his revenge.I thought it would be like Renegade Immortal where getting his revenge would be the first step and then he would move on to the next main plot, but nope. This is a typical, self-insert, wish fulfilling, MC stumbling and finding gold, forgive your brothers who want to kill you because they don't know better; in short, a "let's be friends after I kick your ass and punch your lights out", type of story. Oh, don't forget he's also number one in everything he does and everyone must praise him.The positives are that MC grows mentally and the character development with some side characters. There are some funny moments with his instructor and grandfather. The side characters will either grow on you or annoy you.I would normally like these kinds of adventurous stories, but the author forces MC to be too nice, but I guess thats the premise of the story: from a lone killer to a typical shonen hero with comrades. The resolutions don't satisfy me with all the bullsh*t MC has to endure first.I just don't like the predictable resolutions and him having to save people who tried to disable him.I prefer the way Might Myst Mayhem developed the MC. He was also a solo cold killer, but didn't develop into a "forgive your enemies" shonen character. He was crazier than this MC (Raon), but still matured enough to become a leader with feelings and emotions. SpoilerHe got married and had a kid 🥹. He also started to rely on his allies and became an king in less than 500 chapters without a "stat" system as well. He also got his revenge for his grandfather and moved on quickly to the next main plot.
[collapse] This story is still dragging out the first main plot. The story itself is good, but I'm not satisfied with the resolutions especially with people saying they'll disable the MC or kill him then he just beats them up and forgives them. It feels empty. It's good if you have nothing else to read. Prepare yourself for people calling him monster or a genius almost every chapter.
