The Military Female Soldier With Unwavering Stubbornness Chapter 375 Discussion

The antagonists (MC's relatives) are really idiotic and their so called schemes are just a thinly veiled plot device to create drama for the MC. Which is actually par for the course for this sort of face slapping series. The problem is that it is so repetitive and the author doesn't even attempt to give them a believable motivation.

It gets reaaaally old listening to that family scream and rant how the MC is just an orphan and inferior to their child in every way (as if the MC is trying to compete with her) When the MC goes out of her way to avoid them so long as they don't come looking for trouble. It's hinted that there might be bad blood towards the MC due to the family Elder's hating the MC's deceased parents, but I honestly can't bring myself to care.

It really feels like her cousin somehow subconsciously remembers the first time line because the amount of vitriol she has against the MC doesn't really fit otherwise.

Her Uncle's actions are really hard to fathom. If he has such good backers I don't think the MC would have stood a chance even in this life, so I can only believe that the strings he's pulling have a price he has to pay. Which makes it even stranger. I mean what does he have to gain in stopping the MC from going to a worse school than his daughter? Just out of spite because their previous schemes backfired and he lost 'face'? I mean with how big of clowns his family is I just can't understand why his political career still exists. The author even hints that he's taking bribes from criminals that aided spies... I really have a hard time believing that a small time mayor could call in a favor for such an offense. Long story short these people don't know when to cut their loses. Either that or the Author does a bad job showing/hinting hidden motivations.

I was also suspicious about her not understanding the importance of removing her uncle's guardianship over her... I mean she admits that was one of the main reasons she couldn't keep a steady job in her last life. Not to mention she was set on moving out of their house early in the story and making sure she got back everything they took from her (hinting at money etc). And then the author seemingly leaves this plot thread alone for ages? This is another one of those stories that the MC is praised as smart or clever but makes some really questionable actions (or lack thereof)
