Obligatory Chinese military propaganda warning, but honestly that shouldn't be a surprise given the topic. Also, I've seen worse.This is one of the few stories that I consistently read, because the bond between the FL and the ML are so unique, as comrades but also as soulmates; even when they tease and frustrate each other, they understand when to put their feelings away too. It's also refreshing that the goal of the FL isn't revenge but to live her best life. I love when good people spend their time improving themselves and making friends, because the people who hurt them will bring their doom on themselves. The conspiracy behind her family is also super interesting and I really want to know how this mystery gets resolved.Otherwise, I have to say that some of the "missions" are pretty tough to get through because it gets confusing who's where and what they're trying to do beyond sneak around and eliminate everybody. Most of the action scenes are okay, especially the earlier ones where the FL isn't part of a big team, but there were definitely times where I thought "you know what, I'm going to come back to this when the big shootout is over".
