It's pretty amusing so far! The stepmother is a nice trope subversion of actually defending her stepson and treating him as a son (despite favoring her own son) and the half brother is delightfully dumb. The MC is... quirky to say the least, and the story follows a pretty simple formula of having him encounter supernatural phenomena and solving cases with Taoism.Got a bit bored of MTL so might come back to this later! It's not really my cup of tea but the characters are quite unique and their interactions are amusing. Can't give a full review as I'm only about a quarter of the way through.
