I Couldn’t Stop my Childhood Friend from Turning Into a Villain Chapter 16 Discussion

I started reading because of the lovely illustration and also because I have a fascination with yandere male leads.

The translations are okay. Although there are times where one might get a little bit confused with transition of first to third person point of view (sentence construction), it's generally very much understandable and still good to read. And it is such a plus that updates are regular.

Story-wise, I like that it seems straightforward and does not have unnecessary fillers. The transition from childhood to teens did not take too much time, but still, it did not feel like it's lacking foundation or background for why Liel turned out to be a yandere for Lucy. Spoiler

Although I am still quite curious why Liel opened up immediately to Lucy. Was it really just because they are of the same age and she asked to be his friend? And did he fall for her at first sight or was it somehow gradually--how she takes care of him on an almost daily basis? And has he been acting like a crybaby just so he can stick to Lucy more?

I also appreciate the fact that we get to read it on 3 different povs. So you don't have to keep on guessing their level of understanding with one another. It's less frustrating for readers when one character acts a certain way and the other cannot seem to grasp it.

Enjoying this for now. Thank you~
