The Support Magician Who Was Kicked Out of The Hero Party Will Begin His Adventure Chapter 7-1 Discussion

Just... pointless and boring.

Starts off with a revenge novel premise, which spoiler alert, works itself out and everyone grows slightly as people. Which is such a bullsh*t bait and switch, because #1 the original reason for the betrayal was so idiotic in the first place (they don't understand party roles and how levels work, plus they act like high schoolers), and #2 I want to see blood, revenge novels that screw this up fail (at least there was that one fight).

Story has... issues.

Author has some weird ideas on how s*avery works. MC buys some friends s*aves, becomes a famous adventurer party, people praise MC as a pioneer for buying s*aves and not treating them like crap (eyeroll). Later on there's a detective arc where MC goes after some bad s*avers, and at the end the good s*aver chides the bad s*aver for giving the slaving profession a bad name (I just can't).

There's a monster stampede arc which was alright, in which the author introduces the concept of a dungeon in this setting, then completely ignores it. After that there's the aforementioned detective arc nobody asked for, then the next arc is some kind of altercation with the neighboring empire? I stopped reading then. Oh right, there was supposed to be a demon king or war against the demons the hero's party was supposed to be fighting, that was completely ignored for the past 6 (7?) volumes.

Translation's good.
