Eh. The novel doesn't deserve some of the hate it's getting as a lot of the problems are just staples of chinese cultivation novels, which I agree, aren't great. But, it's the nature of the genre.Having said that, the novel is a steaming pile of doodoo. The protagonist is tr*sh. He sucks, astronomically. It's up there with the worst protagonists I've ever read. If the author wrote a better MC, this novel would easily be the type I really enjoy reading.And you might be saying, a 1 star just for a bad MC? Yes. He is that unappealing.
