I think we've had more words devoted to describing the desserts she's eaten than actual dialogue between the two main characters. idk why I keep reading this; feeling truly like a masochist.Edit: I caught up again and this series is maddening. You think maybe we've finally got some plot progress in c55 only for the author to immediately switch into flashback for his POV so we can rehash the gazillion fakeouts all over again. And chapters are insanely short, maybe 1/3 a typical Korean web novel chapter.Spoiler
I get that the reason for the plot holes is that ML knew all along, but I still think this is poor writing. Considering how repetitive it gets, the author could've easily reframed things so it was more of an actual cat-and-mouse game. It makes her look extra dumb for never questioning why he kept going along with these situations and it makes him look dumb for not being more clever in trying to get her to let her guard down.

But now we're over 40 chapters in and I just realized there has been zero plot progress since the first few chapters.The same gimmick just gets repeated over and over again, plot holes and all (he never directly asks the person she points to whether or not they're his guide, when there is literally nothing stopping him from doing so.) It has gotten incredibly boring and feels like the author is intentionally dragging it out...
