If you forget about the fact the author basically forgot why Aoi was sent to the academy, it's an alright story. In the beginning, the author had the elf send Aoi to the academy because he has taught her everything he knew and he believes that Aoi can learn something new from the research done in the academy over generations. But 60 chapters in, all this girl has done at the academy is show off her magic and martial prowess. Which is fine if not for the premise I've surmised.
