The biggest problem is the author. He took a common plot line and made it horrible. The problem is the author seems pretty young and inexperienced with life. He tries to create child characters of 3 and 5 years of age and I think he has never interacted with children of those ages. Additionally, he writes about characters in a medieval on the brink of destruction and his ideas that “change the world” and bring him fame glory is kids toys and spices. There are a couple of unexpected plot lines that show potential but are horribly executed. It feels like the wish fulfillment world created by a middle school aged author. I gave it my standard 50 chapters, and I just can’t go on. I am normally completely fine with wish fulfillment as I read for fun after stressful days, but this author was so bad at character creation and basic psychology of both children and adults it just ruins it. First 1 star I’ve ever given without atrocious translation.
