Great novel with good plot, great main characters and side characters, character development, and quite humorous. Had me laughing out loud quite a lot. Also, one of the funniest and loveable emperors I've come across. The main part of the novel does end quite abruptly but with the extra chapters it paints a picture of life after the main story. Really touching. Highly recommend! (I read the book in Chinese)
