This novel is a hidden gem, and I'm thrilled to have discovered it. The author has a deep understanding of the historical period and its politics, which adds incredible depth to the story. The protagonist is compelling, making it one of the best kingdom-building novels I’ve read. It’s reminiscent of the author’s previous work, "The Mediterranean Hegemon of Ancient Greece." Highly recommended!
