An isekai JP novel - as soon as you got that phrase you wouldn't expect a novel that is incredibly unique.

The novel started off with a very interesting prologue - with the characters exhibiting both interesting and cliche responses. This immediately pulled me into the novel as I thought perhaps the author might explore the intricate nature between psychology of the characters who will be experiencing an isekai.

As the title of the novel states: the main character is the weakest character and has weak but unique skills compared to his classmates. One of this skills is called "Clear Mind" which enables the protagonist to maintain a stable mindset during his activities. The fact that he could adjust the amount of how stable he is was intriguing - and the author cleverly uses it for comedic purposes.

Here comes the common problems with JP novels that delve into fantastical RPG genres: lack of character depth and diversity. Now, perhaps the author perfects it as he moves on - as I have only read up to the end of the first Arc. The characters introduced are - as usual - a bunch of females that revolve around the protagonist. Each female character has their own traits e.g. One is a drunkard while the other has pointy ears etc. While they are unique in their physical interactions towards the main character - they're inner personalities all seem the same. If the author decides to swap the names of all the female characters for just one chapter - I wouldn't know the difference. I am more disappointed in how the male characters are introduced. Conflicts are resolved too easily - there are no clashes of ego and if they are - the protagonist somehow is lacking one - and the other party befriends the protagonist in the next chapter.

While the worldbuilding seems interesting - I don't expect anything more than other isekais. For people who enjoy novels like this, I'd say it might be something nice to read once in awhile.
