The Male Lead’s Sickly Aide is My Type Chapter 18 Discussion

So yes, 3 chapters is too less to give a proper review, hence I won't give any stars, but so far, it feels a bit icky.

MC gets transmigrated a day after the original body literally confesses to the whole world (via a ball) that she loves og ML. Of course, typical gist of og body being villainess yada yada. The twist is that MC is obsessed with ML, who is the og male lead aide.

That's the basic summary this far. The thing is, I can't tell if she is just so overwhelmed, or shocked, or anything at all, that she doesn't think through any of her decisions. It seems like she thinks it through, but when you see her thought process, it's just so damn simple.

She decides to impulsively see ML because she is obsessed. ML isn't having any of it. She confessed to him straight away cause panic, and it makes him hate her even more. I low-key applauded her for even saying it to his face, and I get that she panicked, so imma close one eye. But after he leaves, and she remembers that she literally told the whole world she likes OG ML like 1-2 days ago, she decides to attend/host another ball to tell the whole world AGAIN (it's again because well, the first time counts) that she loves someone else because apparently that will convince everyone that she loves another person.

Like WHAT??? GIRLY IT AINT THAT SIMPLE. NO ONE IS GONNA BELIEVE YOU IF YOU DO THAT, IT WILL JUST MAKE EVERYONE THINK OF YOU BADLY EVEN MORE. Literally no one is gonna trust her words. Her decisions are so impulsively thought out and done I'm just cringing atp. She can reason with herself about things that ML does (I hope she keeps it up but I'm kinda losing hope) but somehow her brain just flies out the window when it comes to making logical deep decisions. I low-key don't wanna read this, but the idea is so refreshing and Im hoping for character development TT^TT

Edit: I'm skipping parts as I'm reading this, so I'm not sure if it's actually getting any better, but our MC is trying, and I don't wanna dismiss her trying to help so kudos I guess. The book seems to be going okay?? Although sometimes her not taking no for an answer peeves me, the story needs to move on so :/
