Can a Scholar Be Called a Villain Chapter -- Discussion

Review to brighten the day of the translator who is putting the hard work in for a huge project such as Chinese novels like this.

The novel itself starts out good and continues in a realistic way with the MC not always winning every battle or suffering grave injuries and loss of power in the process of conquering a protagonist.

The problem is that at a certain point it feels like, with all these handicaps accumulated throughout his various protagonists, it should be impossible to win against the new and stronger protagonist popping in from of our dear MC, but he relies more and more on his 'hint of chaos' power that he hasn't upgraded for who knows how many arcs and manages to literally beat them all.

In a sense it makes sense because higher level protagonist would have higher level fortune and so scheming would be less effective against them, but with how battered our MC is I can hardly believe he can win against literal protagonists.

Still, great novel.
