Fierce “Husband” Chapter 233 Discussion

I have never read a novel where the protagonist so consistently did the opposite of everything he said he'd do.

"I refuse to open a restaurant." -> opens a restaurant.

"I want to remain low profile." -> immediately so high profile he gains the attention of the emperor and Empress.

"I never ever want to be pregnant. My husband and I already agreed that we won't have children." -> I skip to the epilogue that immediately introduces a new kid of theirs. If he's biological (which seems highly likely with the dialogue) uhhhhhhhhhh

No addressing of his previous convictions whatsoever (with the exception of the new child which I assume there is some in-story explanation for in regards to what changed his mind)

Idk man I'm just noticing a blatant pattern of his actions not matching his words lol
