Overrated.The MC is pretty s*upid, and the story is pretty bland. He’s s*upid because he doesn’t cause and effect until the effects are shown to him. That means he can’t really see around the corner and just does whatever.What makes it worse is that the author feels the need to spell it out for us, in addition to seeing the change, which is tedious.On top of that there’s a system... for whatever reason. Also the typical no one questions where the rare items and techniques come from, how growth is so fast, etc. Add on the fact that MC acts counter to his goals- “I need to stay away from X” and literally does the opposite within 2 chapters.
