My Sassy ‘Crown Princess’ Chapter 338 Discussion

I wanted to rate 2 but 1 is also fine. I actually enjoyed the beginning pf the novel but sadly, it just keep getting less interesting for me. Meanwhile the characters keep getting irritating. MC is very “sassy” but for some reason, he always let other people take advantage of him. ML is just, bad. I don’t like him. Their relationship, in all honesty, I don’t even understand how they fall for each other especially for MC. It just happened. ML treated him like sh*t until he fell for MC and he became like a dog wagging his tail everywhere around MC.

This novel also has too many characters to focus. This causes each character to not have their own special trait, they all seems like having a copy-paste personality with only a different problem and background. Personally for me, none of them are likable. Everyone is childish and bickering like children. Sometimes their bickering seems like the author alternating which character would win in their “fight”.

The most unbearable thing for me is, once they became the bottom for their top, for some reason they suddenly become weak? Eventho the story keep reminding us they are talented especially Mo Yi and Su Rong. MC has always been a talented pharmacist and since the beginning, he’s always protected by Mo Yi, so I can forgive him a bit.

Translation is more like MTL. I think it’s MTL since I used to read it in MTL site. The wrong pronoun. The switching characters name making it so confusing. And sometimes, when there’s two characters mentioned in a sentence, due to name switching, the sentence contradicted the characters setting a lot. The wrong use of some words. Most of the time while reading this, I had to take some time to understand and make up my own sentence in my head because of how ridiculous it became. It just makes me feel like the translator doesn’t even read the story they translated at all and of course, they translated a lot of novel too. Some of the mistakes makes me strongly believe that they just edited from MTL to make it easier to read without even checking how the content truly is.
