Giving up on chapter 46 because this story is just not to my taste. While this is a romance, it is really not romantic at all. Their relationship is very transactional and does not develop in a natural way at all. The MC and ML are constantly working and apart in different cities, which I do not enjoy reading about and do not emotionally connect with. The ML follows “he treats everyone poorly, so doing the bare minimum for a woman is already pretty good” character trope. FL is okay, but I feel like the author wrote her character as very inconsistent. The very start of the story is her breaking up with the man she was planning to marry and she doesn’t even cry, but later in the story she is portrayed as a very spoiled and clingy girlfriend who cries over ML. Also as other reviews mention, there are many translation issues with names and pronouns being wrong as well as entire paragraphs being out of place. I enjoyed the start a lot, but overall as a romance novel, this book was not enjoyable.
