Well it would have been disappointing if they couldn't handle some low class weapon users so i guess all it's alright. Their win should have been expected.

I think they just didn't want to have his ability to function completely destroyed... Can you imagine him trying to fight with that image burned into his mind? He'd damn near collapse every time it flashed in his mind... (^_^)

But I agree. It WOULD have been funny...
