Not bad, not bad. It was engaging and full of action. But it's definitely not relaxing or lighthearted at all, contrary to the title and synopsis. I was mentally exhausted because it's full of schemes and conspiracies every now and then. I don't even know who will be the traitor next, coupled with the fact that I just read the MTL version, I was muddlehead every now and then as well.Plot-wise, it was kinda good. Different from the interstellar setting where Zergs are the villain, here, zergs can be their allies and friends. Internal conflict and external conflict happens every now and then (how many times have I said these words? Nvm). Loyalty, friendship, patriotism, and human nature were displayed here.As for romance, I don't like it that much. I can't feel much chemistry between the FL and ML, especially at the beginning. I rather have the ML's brother since I feel like he has more chemistry with the FL. It's not like the ML is not good, but I just can't feel the sparks or s*xual tension between them. Well, it may be due to the fact that the story isn't focused on romance at all. The romance just became the focus in the extras. And the ML just became more "alive" or has more depth in those chapters. In short, I'm not that fond of the romance. As for the FL, she's likeable. Domineering, smart, frank, has high EQ, funny, and proactive. She's tomboyish and if this is an omegaverse or guideverse, she's no doubt an alpha or a sentinel. She's strong from the beginning and stronger until the end.Overall, it's a good story for those who like action and adventures, and are not that fond of romance but not totally against it. 8/10.
