4 but definitely has the potential to hit 5.

This story is very similar to other apocalyptic survival stories that focus on events rather than monsters or zombies but the MC feels a bit more like a human.

The MC is Ruan Ning who is given a warning prior to being transmigrated into an apocalyptic world. She immediately uses all her funds to buy supplies, as she discovers she has two golden fingers. One is a space where she can store goods and the other is a fridge that allows her to "restock" things at certain times each day. While she is a nice person, she is not a push over and doesn't allow others to walk all over her. She is also bound to a system which helps her increase her abilities as well as notifies her about the "protagonist" of the story she has entered.

Spoiler

The story she read is pretty terrible. It's a harem novel which appears to be very low IQ. The protagonist is not very attractive or special but he is determined to collect women as that is how he increases his own abilities. In fact, the more children he has, the more points he has. Those points allow him to do various things such as copying items or plastic surgery for himself.

From the beginning, it's clear that he was pursuing the MC but she is having none of that. She begins to act in various ways that will prevent him from getting what he wants (such as preventing him from meeting his first "wives").

While there is no confirmed ML as of yet, the most likely candidate is her neighbour who was not featured in the novel. He is a tough young man who has the singular goal of protecting his sister. He does warm to the MC but doesn't really act in a "hooked at first sight" kind of way so it might change as things go on. He's a very capable individual and doesn't shy away from getting things done.

The MC's goal in this apocalypse is to survive. This means that she does things that will hamper the original protagonist. She begins this right from the start, doing everything she can to keep him from gaining all the extras he had in the early part of the novel. She knows this is going to eventually reveal her knowledge to the original protagonist but she has made the decision to do it anyway.

Spoiler

She revealed to the other people in their groups that he had money and was trying to pursue her which led to him being slowed down before he could go gather supplies.

She provided food to the two women that he had tricked in the original story. They both freaked out about that and moved so he could no longer find them.

She gathered the emergency shelter and supplies from various areas that she knew he was supposed to go to.

She orchestrated the death of one of his right-hand men (a guy who was just as scuzzy as he was).

She even prevented his meeting with one of his "wives" and his ability to benefit from the destruction of a group that had been robbing everyone else by sending the police there.

As of chapter 34, he's begun to suspect that she might be reborn as he has gone to her original home and discovered she is no longer there. This deviates from the story he knows (as he is reborn after dying the first time) as she should have been banging on his door begging for help.

It does have an interesting twist as her parents actually join her in this. From the beginning, her system has been telling her that her family will arrive after a certain period of time. It was kind of nice as most transmigration stories never include the people who were left behind.

Overall, it is a little fast paced but it has the right mix of violence (for an apocalypse) and character development that it's not too terrible. I recommend waiting for more chapters as I stopped at 34 and the wait might do me in.
